Some Marissa-isms
Here are some new things Marissa has learned to do...
Pictures: Grandma Jones, Auntie Leanna, and cousin Kiara come for a visit
Grandma Jones (Chris' mom), Auntie Leanna (Chris' sister), and cousin Kiara (Chris' aunt Sherri's daughter) came to visit us in New Liskeard yesterday. Here are some pictures from yesterday and today.

Grandma Jones & Marissa

Look out! Here come the Jones'!
Our family tradition is to have pancakes after church every week... today we had Peach & Blueberry pancakes with strawberries, syrup, and whipped cream. Marissa liked the pancakes the best, while Kiara enjoyed the whipped cream the best.

We are pancake eating machines!

Are you looking at my pancake...

All done!
Yesterday was beautiful, and we all went swimming in the lake...

I love driving!
Being in the sun almost everyday has lightened Marissa's hair...

This is a picture of the new room that Nancy and Kelly have added to their house. It goes out from the basement and leads out to a deck that has four steps down to the lake.

Pictures: Bonfire in Dauphin Apr '05
While visiting in Dauphin in April, we had a bonfire at my dad's place. Marissa was more interested in playing with her cousins then the fire, but she sure had a good time! Me too, and the food was really good. In the picture below that Chris took, you can see my dad, Marissa, my Auntie Linda Nicholson, and myself. Also in attendance were my sister Jody, her husband Greg, and kids Jonathon, Regan and Mackenzie; Uncle Bill Nicholson; and my Grandma and Grandpa Nicholson.

Happy Canada Day!!!!!!!!
Happy Canada Day!!!
Nancy and Kelly Kramp hosted a Canada Day party at their place today. Marissa was napping when the party began, so she was a little shy when she woke up and came upstairs to a house full of people! There were quite a few Kramp's in attendance - and Marissa enjoyed playing with Emma, Stephanie, and Paige.
It was a BBQ and potluck - unfortunately it started raining, so everyone was inside for most of the party, but it did clear up a bit when the sun went down so we were able to set off a few fireworks! Dayn was the brave soul that lit them - it was a pretty good show. Carly also came up from Toronto for the weekend, so we are having a good visit.
