Some Marissa-isms

Here are some new things Marissa has learned to do...

  • when she wants Nancy's attention: "NANA! NANA! What you doin'?"
  • when she sees an ant: "Bug! Bug!" (she tries to step on it) "Get it!"
  • practicing swimming: (she lays on the floor and squirms around) "swimming!"
  • when it is her turn to read a book: (she grabs the book from me) "I do it!"
  • when she sees a rainbow: "nemo!" (although she said it today and it sounded closer to 'rainbow')
  • when she sees notes, for example, music in the hymnal: "La, la, la, la, la, la!"
  • counting three sheep in a book, for example: "Two, two, two!"
  • counting in general, when we go up stairs: "five, six, seven, eight, nine, eight, nine..." (she never starts at one!)
  • when she wants you to colour with her: "Help! Help! Draw somesing."
  • favourite song: "Twinkle, twinkle!" (which she sings)
